Some customer comments:

" Wow! It is superb and far exceeds my expectations. It is perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing! I know my husband will love it and I cannot wait to show him! .......the painting is so detailed and your eye does not stop wandering"

"WOW! I love both paintings, I had them sat on one of the sofas last night to have a good look. ....... what can I say, I can see why you were reluctant to part with them as they certainly draw the eye. .......I love the faces which I think is what gets the viewers attention and the fur trim is very effective. Having said that it’s unfair to single out any area in particular as the whole painting is excellent and I think one of your best."

"I picked up [the painting] from the framers on Saturday so she’s now in situ at home. I’m very pleased with how the painting looks on the wall and because there are no scaling details nearby an optical illusion makes the painting look even larger than it is! It is actually hanging in the entrance hall/stairs on the middle landing. As the stairs turn 180 degrees I can either view the whole piece from the top landing or get close to the details on the middle landing. It looks quite imposing from the hall at the bottom of the stairs, almost as if the queen is welcoming my visitors to the house!"

"It’s easy to be enthusiastic when you produce such wonderful images. The price sounds good to me."

"WOW!– another great job Chris, thank you. The girls look fantastic and I love all the detailing – the lace has come out well as you say, well worth the extra effort and the colours do work very well ...... The background looks great, so no changes needed."

"Absolutely fabulous, I have to hand it to you Chris, that is an amazing piece of work, I love it.....Fantastic work Chris, I’m really pleased with how it looks which is very much what I had in mind."

'This was my first commission with Chris and it certainly won't be my last. The painting conveys the imagery and the atmosphere I was hoping for. It is an excellent piece of work' (Jacobite Charge)

And a thought from a famous artist:

“What is quickly done is quickly seen, and would not bear the test of careful examination”

Jacques-Louis David (1748 – 1825)
